Cabbage Patch Doll Inspired Hat

Brooke from Aussie Girl Creations and myself, Jodi from Forever Stitchin collaborated together to put together this pattern template to help crocheters create their very own Cabbage Patch Doll inspired hat.

This is the FREE pattern that is available on Craftsy for those who are unable to get to that pattern! Have fun!

NOTES:
You can use most basic beanie patterns to create the size and length you’d like. Follow the pattern minus approx. 2” at the bottom that you will replace with 3-5 loop stitch rounds.

Pigtails:
Cut 80-100 lengths of yarn between 24-30 inches long depending how long you’d like the pig tails to be, split into 2 groups & attach them to either side of the hat around Rounds 3-4.
Use yarn and/or ribbon to sew them in place and between 3-4 inches apart down each side. Trim to desired length.
