Hooded Cowls
I've had multiple people share with me the pattern from The Velvet Acorn for the animal cowls asking me if I could make them - of course I can make them ;) My BFF asked if I could make one for her daughter - of course I said yes! BOOM... the explosion of awesome winter gear came afterwards!
These are so much fun to work up and so easy too! The yarn can be tricky, since it uses a Super Bulky weighted yarn but if you have access to it, it's wonderful! I'm sure doubling up regular worsted weight / 4 ply yarn would work as well, but it might alter the end look a lil bit. The color options would be endless if you went that route though!

Rerelease of Giggle & Chuckle the Owls Set!
These owls started out as a special request for one of my best friends daughter - who is in Australia. She loves the TV show "Giggle & Hoot" so I made them for her!
With pictures and instruction to make the characters if you choose too, or you can modify it into your very own unique and adorable owl!
It's the perfect combo to create something special for that new baby with the beautiful owl theme in their nursery or for the life long owl lover!

Baby Boy Whoo's my cutie Blanket
I love getting to make baby blankets and things for babies!! So far I have made 3 Whoo's my cutie? blankets! 2 for girls and now 1 for a baby boy!!! With the boy, instead of doing flowers, I made different coloured leaves for the baby since he will be born in the fall! I love how it turned out, I might attempt to make him a little top hat to add to the adorable!

Forever Stitchin Creature Line
Awhile ago I was doodling in my sketch pad and started creating some random funky creatures. I realized I could turn them into real characters. There's a story to go along with them - although it is totally random and not even remotely complete, it's in my head and it will come to life as I continue to make these creatures!
Introducing Whitney, she is fun and crazy! She blossoms daily and is indestructible!

she's the LIFE of the party!
And this is Robotera, she's the one who holds everything together!!

Another Owl Set!
Eeeek! I got to make another Whoo's My Cutie blanket with matching Giggle the Owl! And I get to make another one too, going to start it this afternoon! I really love making these. The pattern is so easy to adapt with any color modifications to make it what we want! I can't wait to make the next one since it will be for a boy! I have a lil something special planned for him!
